 Hello, welcome to this blog today. , we had started about 'Career options after 12th' where I had told you the career options for students after 12th Commerce. In this video, we will see if you're a PCM student means student of Physics, Chemistry and Maths then what options are there for you in education and jobs First, let's see the options you have in education So the first option is B. Tech B. Tech is very popular among the students who want to pursue Engineering they go for B.Tech B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology there are various streams like Civil, Mechanical, Aviation so you get a lot of options to choose from as a specialization as per your interest B. Tech is a 4-year course, if you do not want to give your 4 years if you do not want to give your so much time, you only want to a graduation you can go for B.Sc, it also has B.Sc(Physics), B.Sc(Chemistry) like specialization options B.Sc is a 3-year degree course If you do not want to do B.Sc, if you do not want to study Physics, Chemistry you can opt for BCA - Bachelor of Computer Applications the benfit here you will get is - you will leave your Science background and enter to computer field and make your career in IT If you don't want to do BCA, you do not want to go for computers If your interest is to be an Architect, like you may have seen designs of building if you want to do those things, you can go for B.Arch - Bachelor of Architecture; this is also a 4-year course Next is Diploma in Engineering, we also call it as Polytechnic Usually students do it after 10th but many students are doing it after 12th so you can also do Polytehnic course after 12th which is a 3-year course There are many institutions in India from where you can do polytechnic and many colleges provide you placement in this course After this, you can also go for B.Tech for higher studies or you can also continue your job with this degree. 

 Next is ITI which is similar to Polytechnic you can do ITI after 10th or 12th In this course also, you get different options like Fitter, Welder, Data Entry Operator ITI is a 3-year course and please note that If your ITI course is of 1 year, you'll have to do a training of 2 years that is known as Apprenticeship And if your course if of 2 years, you'll have to do 1 year of apprenticeship so you will have to give a total of 3 years for ITI Next is D.Ed/D.El.Ed, I have already told about this in the last video If you want to do a job in school, you can pursue a course in Diploma in Education or Diploma in Elementary Education This is a 2-year course. With this, you can be a primary teacher and also later do B.Ed. Next option is IELTS - International English Language Testing System If you want to go abroad or other countries for studies then you can take IELTS assessment These were few option related to education, now we will see the job options for you. First is - Indian Navy or Airforce If you're a PCM student, you have a very good opportunity because the commerce students have only option for Indian Army so you have this opportunity that you can apply for Navy and Airforce you'll have to qualify NDA exam and then you can work in Navy or Airforce Next is Merchant Navy. 

 If you don't want to work for Indian force if you want to work for the cargo shipping companies that are outside India then you can do Merchant Navy course In Merchant Navy, you won't have to do fighting, so you are more safe in this job For this course, there are many international institutes in India that offer course in Merchant Navy, you can can join any of them and do Merchant Navy course. Next is Customer Service Executive If you want to work for few years, so you can continue your studies simultaneously Customer Service job is a good for you you will easily get job in this in BPO companies In BPOs, there are many candidates who work to earn money while studying Next is Counselor. If you want to go in Education sector then you can also work as Counselor You will get such job in institutions or colleges they hire 12th passed students for this position If you gain experience in this profile, you will also get good increment in your salary. Next is Recruiter. A recruiter's job is to hire employees for company. If you are good in communication, you can get a job as recruiter If you do not work in a company, you can also get job in the recruitment or HR consultancies and in future, you can also work as a company HR Next is Reception. At every hotel and corporate companies, there is a reception you can also work there, mostly you will work in day shift which is good thing as most of the customers come in day time so your work will be to manage reception and the entire front desk area Next is Tutor. If you have a good knowledge in any subject for example you are very strong in Chemistry, you have very good knowledge in this you can be an online tutor or you can also offer home tuition, you have the choice.  

 Today, there are many online platforms like Udemy, Unacademy where you can register for online tutor and earn a good money.
