THE AGE OF MACHINES 

we are living in the machines age. we use machines all the time  it is difficult to imagine life without machines. but it was not like this is the past. the early humans  had no machines. they made most of their tools from stone. they used these tools for hunting animal and making caves. since these tools were  made of stone,these period came to be know as the stone age.

           DISCOVERY OF METALS

copper was the first metal to be discovered by the early man it was used to make tools. the next metal to be discovered was bronze. it was made mixing copper  and tin . the next metal to be discovered was iron .iron  was harder than copper and bronze .it was used to make strong tools such as shovels ,sickles and ploughs.these tools were used to clear forest for agriculture . the early man was also used iron to make weapons for hunting . the discovery of iron was an important incident in the life of early man. iron made him also powerful as never before . Since most of the tools during that period were made of iron, that that period came to be known as the IRON AGE
