but Abraham I already know this everybody knows this eat less food losemore weight which you are correct but here's how you do it properly accordingto a study done from Oxford University which leads me on to tip number one soto do this you're going to have to get rid of snacks between meals you're going to be having three meals a day and no snacks between them if you do snack you'reprobably not going to hit that target of 500 calories less than your dailyrequirement tip number two it's all about portion size so you don't need tochange what you eat but you are gonna have to change your portion size and I'm going to tell you all about that next so in the study participants were told to eat no more than a fist sized portion at each meal
so what does this meanthis means that you can only have a daily intake of three fist-sized full ofcarbs two palm-sized portions of lean protein andtwo cupfuls of vegetable or salad the participants could also have two fistsizes of fruit and they could also have two servings of fat or oilcovering the tip of the thumb now participants could also have 200ml's ofskimmed or semi skimmed milk or if they didn't want to have milk they could havetwo pots or two 125gram pots of natural low-calorie yoghurt now I'll leave the fulldescription of this diet in the description below for youas well tip number three now in the study participants were told that theycould eat their usual foods which is great you can do that too but rememberif your usual food consists of high sugary foods or high fat foods like fastfood for example then you're gonna need to avoid it and that was tip numberthree now when it comes to the results of this study it's pretty incredible butbefore we go there there was also another group in this study who didn'tchange their diet but instead did 10-minute abdominal workouts every dayfor six weeks and it had a great result there was a two centimeter reduction intheir waistline but the clear winner of this study was our group the diet controlgroup so after six weeks there was a reduction of 5 centimeters in thewaistline
which is incredible there was also improvements in healthparameters like blood pressure like blood glucose and lipids now justimagine for a second if you were to mix the abdominal workout group with thediet control group which is our group just imagine the results now pleaseremember if you have thought about getting unlicensed diet pills because it mightseem like a quick fix solution just remember this that the contents are unknown, unproven and untested also 2 in 3 people have report serious side effects from themnow I also made a video a while ago with the MHRAabout a unlicensed diet so if you'd like more information on this I'll leave a linkup here and in the description below for you so check it out also a big thankyou to my fan in Australia for sending me this tie it's got littleKangaroos on it and it looks fantastic I really like it thank you so muchthey've asked to remain anonymous so I won't give their name but thank youagain and let's us know how you get on with these tips and if you've got any of yourown tips leave a comment too - see you next

IAS OFFICER
Job Security. Great house. Chauffeur Driven Car. Subsidised bills. Life-time Pension. If as a job-seeker, this doesn't make you drool.. I don't know what will. Yes, being an IAS officer comes with a lot of perks. But...these are not the reasons why you should want to be one. The only reason why you should be an IAS officer is if you want to improve the lives of millions of Indians. See, waging 'Nationality' wars is simple which is why a lot of bored and jobless people are doing it online. But reaching the level where you can actually do something for your nation that takes Hard-Work! And I know that you can do it which is why today I am going to tell you everything you need to know about becoming an IAS Officer.
So in today's video, we are going to start by understanding who are IAS officers and what do they do? Eligibility Criteria for becoming one. Exam Details. Cost of becoming an IAS officer. Salary and Career after you get selected. But most importantly, towards the end I'll give you some Bonus Tips that will help you crack what is possibly the toughest exam of our country. Look, becoming an IAS Officer is a lot of work. But do you know what's worse? Being stuck at a sub-standard job you don't like that doesn't even pay well. Which is why I am making these 'How to Become' videos so that you have all the information you need to pick the career you love. And by the end of this video you will have everything you need to get started on how to become an IAS Officer.
But before that, if you like me or if you like what I am doing then make sure you hit that 'Like' button because that just makes me happy and I make good videos when I am happy. Let's begin. IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. And simply put, IAS officers assist the ruling government in disbursement of funds, maintaining law and order, crisis management, revenue collection, implementing policies, giving feedback etc... If I had to compare them to a Super-Hero, I'd say they are like.. Spider-Man and Woman They have great power but it comes with great responsibility. Now, how to become an IAS Officer? For that you need to write an exam called CSE..
Civil Service Examination At the end of the exam, you will get a rank and depending on that rank, you will be allocated to IAS, IFS, IPS and 24 other services that come under it. In this section, we are going to discuss what is the eligibility criteria you need to meet to write that exam. There are 4. 1. For IAS and IPS, you need to be a citizen of India. 2. Age Limit is between 21 - 32 and there are extensions in some cases as mentioned here. 3. The number of times you can attempt this exam for GC is 6, OBC is 9, Physically-Challenged candidates if 9 an for SC/ST is unlimited until they reach their Age-Limit. 4. You need to have a graduate degree or an equivalent qualification at the time of application. There is no percentage requirement. You just need to pass the exam. Final year students can also apply. Now before I tell you about the exam syllabus here are the 3 things that you must know. 1. CSE is conducted by UPSC. Union Public Service Commission. 2. Every year around 10 Lakh people apply, 5 Lakh write and around 1000+ get selected. 3. The CSE exam has 3 stages. The first stage is called Preliminary which is conducted in June. The second stage is called Mains and it is conducted in Sept or Oct. The third stage is an Interview which is conducted in Mar or Apr. And the final result comes in May end. So as you can see, it's an year-long exam! Coming to the Syllabus.. Prelims will have 2 papers and both will be objective multiple-choice papers. Paper I will test you on General Studies which includes subjects like History, Geography, Current-Affairs etc.. Paper II will test you on Aptitude which includes Comprehension, Problem-Solving Skills, Analytical Ability etc.. Both will be for 200 Marks each. After you qualify Prelims, you will write Mains. Mains is a written examination and it will have 9 papers. The subject topics include Language, Technology, Indian Heritage, Security and Disaster Management, Ethics etc..
The Mains account for 1750 marks in total. After you clear Mains, you will be short-listed for a Personal Interview. It'll be for 275 marks. The purpose of this interview is to find out if you are Mentally Alert, have Moral Integrity, Leadership Skills etc.. things that you will need if you are going to make important decisions for the country. At the end of these 3 stages, the final rank will be prepared based on a total of 2025 marks and after making the cut you will be on your way of becoming an IAS, IFS, IPS Officer... Coming to... How to prepare? Incase you are a beginner, 10-12 months of advance preparation is usually advised which means that if you are applying for Stage 1: Prelims in June 2019 then you should've already begun your preparation in August 2018. But incase you haven't...then don't worry because there are students who clear the exam with 5-6 months of preparation as well because it's not just the quantity of time but quality of time matters as well. For more details on eligibility, syllabus, exam dates keep checking the UPSC Official Website upsc.gov.in I've left the link in the description. Because you don't know what when changes.
So make sure you keep checking the website regularly. Registration Fee for Prelims is Rs. 100/- and for Mains, it's Rs. 200/- and this fees is also exempted in some cases. For people who want to opt for coaching centres, it can cost somewhere between 1.5 - 2 Lakh INR. But as every student who doesn't get selected will tell you.. it costs more than just money. It will cost you your effort, the opportunities that you let go of, your intellectual capital, but most importantly, preparing for IAS costs you something that's priceless and that's.. your time. The salary of a Junior IAS officer can be around 60,000 INR per month but it comes with a lot of perks like HRA, Travel Allowance etc.. Once you become a Senior IAS Officer, it can be around 2.5 Lakhs per month or more. Now how to make sure that you crack this prestigious exam? Before I give you the bonus tips, let me tell you a little bit about myself. The reason why I am making these 'How to Become' videos, like... How to become a Pilot, How to become an IAS Officer is because I am an engineer by profession and that's because 9 years back I had no idea what else to do. But I want you to have a shot at different professions that I never had. So if you like my work, make sure you 'Subscribe' to my channel and hit that 'Bell' icon because I make videos every week that'll help you chose the right career. If you want to crack the IAS Exam, you must do these 3 things... 1. Watch, Read and Breathe News. If you want to clear the IAS Exam, then you need to keep your current affairs game up! Plus, reading a newspaper will improve your communication skills which inturn will make you more confident during the interview. If you want to know how I learnt to speak in English fluently then check out this video. I've left the link in the description. 2. Keep your mobile phone away. While preparing for IAS, the only thing that will save your ass is Time-Management. And the biggest enemy of that is your mobile phone. You think that you'll only spend 5 mins on Social Media but we all know how that ends. And #3...Rest. While preparing your time-table, keep enough time for exercise and sleep.
Because a healthy body will have a healthy mind. So that was all about how to become an IAS Officer. If you want me to make a separate video about what other Government Jobs are available and how to apply for them then comment below and let me know. See, the road to become an IAS Officer is tough. It's filled with hard-work, dedication...true but what nobody tells you is that it's also a bit frustrating because while your friends move on and start earning you on the other hand are left alone to prepare for a year or more and that seclusion is what gets to most people. But hey, all of this moulds you as a person and once you become an IAS Officer the responsibility for making the society better for all of us will fall on your shoulders! So if you think you can do it, then go for it because I believe in you. On that note, I promise to see you again next week until then.. Keep fighting, The Urban Fight...to be Fit!
HOW TO BECAME A YOUTUBER TIPS AND TRICKS
HOW TO BECAME A YOUTUBER
Hey there! These days, YouTube has more than 1.8 billionusers, and those are only the people who get logged in! No wonder this platform is one of the world'smost successful and popular services ever! But it's not enough to upload just any videoto start your own YouTube channel and make the grade. You need to know several vital points that’llhelp you get started, and earn good money at that! 1.
One of the most crucial steps you should makebefore creating your own channel is to plan your content. It should be engaging and interesting. Plus, the more people can relate to it, themore they’ll click on your videos and watch them till the end.
2. The best idea is to make videos about somethingthat’s trendy at the moment. This way, more people will click on them. At the same time, you have to find your ownoriginal content – don’t copy the ideas of other vloggers.
3. Once you've chosen one theme for your channel, try to stick to it. For example, if the main concept of your channelis traveling, a make-up tutorial might not be too interesting for your audience.
4. Choose a unique, catchy, and easy-to-remembername for your channel that will also describe your content.
5. Pay particular attention to the profile picture- it should be clear and eye-drawing.
6. If your goal is to monetize your videos, makesure they don't mention controversial topics, for example, politics, or tragic events. Also, avoid inappropriate language and hatefulcontent. Check out certain "trigger" words which willmake YouTube demonetize your video. Spoiler: these words may sound entirely innocentat first glance!
7. Remember that there will be times when you'llfind it hard to come up with new ideas for your videos. No need to fret - even the most experiencedvloggers occasionally run into the same problem. Make it a habit to write down all the ideasthat come to your mind, and try to look for inspiration everywhere you go.
8. Get yourself the right equipment. Your content may be super cool and useful, but if the quality of your videos is poor, most people won't want to waste their timeon a blurry image.
9. Popular YouTubers normally use either a mirrorlessor a DSLR camera (the latter stands for a digital single-lens reflex camera). Other essentials you may need include lenses, tripods, or even studio lighting, depending on the concept of your channel. 10. If you shoot videos on the go, you'd betterchoose a good monopod or handheld stabilizer, and a high-quality action camera.
11. Clear sound is just as important as the pictureitself. That's why it's a great idea to invest ina good microphone before you start shooting your videos. Always check your audio to make sure the viewerswill be able to understand your words.
12. To get better sound while shooting outside, use a directional microphone - it filters the background noise around you, singlingout the sounds of whatever it’s pointed directly at.
13. Until you've gathered a big following, makesure that every second of your videos has some meaning. Choose the very best content, and cut outany boring moments of silence. It’ll keep your viewers' attention throughoutthe video.
14. If you're new on YouTube, and video editingis still something you don't excel at, don’t use advanced editing software, like FinalCut Pro. Try something basic and simple at first.
15. Never compare yourself with other YouTubers- that's a sure way to a fiasco. Concentrate on your work and use every opportunityto learn something new: test original editing styles, try new presentation techniques, andexplore new areas that may interest your viewers.
16. Commit yourself to posting on your channelat least three times a week. Statistically, such channels are much moresuccessful and get significantly more recommended views. This tip is especially important for thosewho are just starting their YouTube channel, because it's a sure way to gain popularity.
17. On top of that, if you post tons of videosfrom the very beginning, you build up your own video library. This way, the viewers will be able to movefrom one video to another, boosting your watch time.
18. Your content should be simple enough to beproduced regularly and in a relatively short time. Experienced YouTubers often have a small videostudio of their own (even if it's just an ex-storeroom in their apartment). All you have to do when you need new contentis turn on the lighting and start shooting!
19. Illustrate your videos with different storiesand life examples. It engages people more, and they’ll continuewatching to see what will happen in the end.
20. If you already have a large, trusting audience, you can begin your video with a fact that seems totally off-topic, and then make a suddenturn and connect it with the main idea of your video.
21. Start your videos in an intriguing way. For example, if it's some tutorial, show thefinal result first. It’ll hook people and make them watch yourvideo until the end.
22. The titles of your videos should be shortand intriguing to make the viewers interested enough to click. The same goes for the opener: if it's toolong, people might get bored, lose interest, and close the video.
23. Make your title no longer than 10 words, usesimple vocabulary, and try to come up with something intriguing and catchy. Don’t use academic words, metaphors, orclickbait phrases.
24. Remember to add end screens which are interactivelinks to your playlists and other videos. It's a great way to promote your channel,or even your website!
25. But you should keep in mind that end screensappear in the last 20 seconds of your video, so you should plan exactly where and whenyou want to have them. The best option is to organize the layoutof your video in such a way that end screens frame the main subject on the screen.
26. Another crucial point is the thumbnail. Depending on how well you work on it, a thumbnailcan make your video a roaring success, or let it go completely unnoticed. First of all, the thumbnail should be relevantto the content and the title of your video. Otherwise, the viewers will immediately clickaway.
27. Also, always describe the thumbnail in thevideo. Your audience clicks on the picture becauseit's got them hooked, and they want to learn more about it in the video itself.
28. Design your thumbnail to tell a story. The image should intrigue your viewers andmake them wonder what's going to happen next, and which actions have led to this situation.
29. Use one style while creating all your thumbnails- this way, people will recognize them at first glance. You can also add your channel's logo, designparticular shapes or patterns, or use the same element on all your thumbs.
30. You can test which of your thumbnails arethe most clickable and have the highest view-through rate. To do it, you'll have to spend some moneyto find out your YouTube statistics for a week or so, but the results will be worthit.
31. Making long videos can help you to improvewatch time. Despite the infamous attention span thesedays, videos that last for more than 10 minutes get recommended by YouTube more often thanshorter ones.
32. Watch time is vital for a vlogger nowadaysbecause recently, YouTube has changed its algorithm. Thus, content creators get rewarded dependingon how long their videos are watched rather than how many people click on them.
33. Another good idea is a collaboration withother YouTubers. You can advertise each other either throughend screens or by mentioning another channel or person in your video. Such promotions have a great influence onviewers and often let you gain many new subscribers.
34. Ignore the negative feedback you might get- it's almost inevitable. Remember that however useful and entertainingyour content is, there will always be those who’ll try to bring you down by postinghateful comments. Don't let them discourage you! Now it’s your turn. Do you have your own recommendations for thosewho want to make their YouTube channel take off? Let me know down in the comments! If you learned something new today, then givethis video a like and share it with a friend. But – hey! – don't go changing the channeljust yet – or ever! so I would suggest to you that you use a different part ofthe bed to sleep in and maybe a different corner perpendicular to whereyou're sleeping is the position where you study in but this is the key totrick your mind into saying hey this is the space in which you start working nowthere are three rules for you to follow to make this a success one is to keepthe space sacred for work only so for example I'm at my desk and I get a callfrom my friend I pick up my phone I go out of my room I take that call and Icome back and chances are I put my phone on silent or I pick it up and I keep itaway rule number two may this a no-phone zone and finally keepyour space neat and tidy because that way the brain is able to focus moreeasily and there's less stress caused on account of everything that's lyingaround you smart study at home tip number four is manage your phone nowyour phone can either be the source of your distinction or your distraction oreven destruction now there can be only one master ask yourself are you the masterof your phone or are you its slave now there are a few simple rules that youcan follow to become the master not only of your phone but also of your owndestiny rule number one avoid picking up yourphone first thing in the morning remember the morning ritual tip numberone this morning time is for self-reflection quietly tip number twokeep your phone away from your study tableideally pick it up and place it in a different room rule number three you caneven use some free apps to prevent getting distracted by your phone and
finally often you people tell me I have to study on my phone so how can Ikeep my phone away from my study room in that case make sure you put your phoneon the airplane mode before you begin studying now we've got an exclusivevideo on how to focus and concentrate and I'm gonna drop a link in thedescription box smart study at home tip number five is to organize online studysessions now organize these video sessions with your friends yourclassmates or even your cousins and you can even teach somebody something youcan discuss your doubts maybe you can pick up one chapter and you know readthe whole thing or you can sort one important concept and that is going tohelp you simulate a real-life classroom smart study at home tip number six ismake notes now I'm sure you have some online classes the tip here is to listento the class at its regular speed don't try to pause and then make notes andthen go back and listen to it again that way you'll lose momentum so listen to
it at the regular speed keep taking notes while you'relistening to it that way your brain is going to be completely engaged you'regoing to focus and at the end of the quick study session you're going to comeback feeling charged up now we have a dedicated video telling you how to makenotes and I'm going to drop a link for you under the description box and youcan watch that to see the different ways in which you can actually take notessmart study at home tip number seven is called afternoon slump now this reallyisn't a tip this is a fact post-lunch many of us feel sluggish we're not ableto concentrate and that's the lowest part of our day the first thing ofcourse is you shut your book you shut your laptop you move away fromyour desk or your study room after this you can do one of two things either youcan go to sleep take a small nap especially if you woken up very early inthe morning the other thing to do is to do something that keeps you physicallyactive for example fold your laundry clothes or just clear your room or yourdesk or maybe you want to just cook something in the kitchen I don't knowsome chores that you have but the moment you're doing a physical activity at thistime you'll find that you may be able to solve a problem that
you were strugglingat when you were sitting at your desk smart study at home tip number eight iscalled a doubt sheet now when you're studying and when you're in class manytimes you have a doubt and you can instantly raise your hand and ask theteacher unfortunately we don't have the luxury of doing that at home so wheneveryou face a doubt write it down on a separate sheet keep stiring note downthe doubts and keep studying and at the end of the session whenever you have aplanned maybe video call with your teacher or you have that online studysession with your friends pull out your doubt sheet and bingo those are thequestions that you need answered smart study tip number nine is one priorityper day now don't try to do too many things in a day and preferably don'thave this long to-do list decide on one thing you want to do youwant to make an outline for an essay or you want to research a topic for yournext presentation but whatever it is choose onething whatever you choose as your big priority do it the night before note itdown either on your whiteboard or maybe even on a sheet of paper and leave it atyour desk second thing is try to pick up this bigchallenging daunting task early in the day as early as possible preferably thefirst thing when you sit on your table now what happens with that is that one you've got the entire day to tackle the problem and be the moment you finish ityou feel a sense of satisfaction for the rest of the day sometimes we have theselittle little things to do it's not always only the big things so tackle thebig thing first thing in the morning and once you are done with that take yourlittle to-do list and start ticking off those small little items smart study athome tip number 10 is don't study all day yes yes absolutely do not study allday this is also a good time for you to take
that much-needed break perhapsyou've had a very intense academic year so it's not a bad idea for you to relaxa little bit but if you have a schedule and it's a few hours of work follow the routine put away of books on your laptop and your table and in theevening plan something fun it could be a nice dinner with family it could be acall with your friends it could be a Netflix watched session but what's veryimportant is for you not to binge on Netflix perhaps all night long and sleepvery late you must sleep on time because sleep is a time and the brain regainsits energy and that makes you very productive the next day and aboveeverything else stay healthy reward yourself for allthese accomplishments and stay connected with your friends this may be a goodtime for you to become the best version of yourself don't forget to give me acomment by telling me your favorite study at home tip and also press thatsubscribe button and the bell icon right next to it and that thumbs up issomething we love you to press and happy watching
